Presentation guidelines

Papers assigned to oral and poster sessions should be presented according to the respective guidelines below.

Oral presentations

The duration of an oral presentation slot is 20 minutes with a few exceptions: 12 minutes for the presentation; 7 minutes for questions from the floor; and 1 minute for a speaker change. Projectors will be available in the session rooms for oral presentations. Presentation speakers are advised to bring their own laptop computers, and if needed, prepare an appropriate adapter for connecting to a VGA cable for the projector.

Presentation speakers should arrive at their session room 5minutes before the session is supposed to start. A projector switching unit is prepared in each session room. Presentation speakers are also asked to plug your laptop computer to the switching unit before the previous presentation starts.

Poster presentations

The maximum dimensions of posters must be 841 mm wide x 1189 mm high, equivalent to A0 size in portrait orientation. Poster presenters are requested to attach posters on predetermined boards according to poster presentation numbers (see the poster presentation list in the program details) between 12:20pm and 4:20pm of the poster session day, October 11.

Poster presenters should keep standing by the posters during the core time (see below) to which their poster presentations are assigned.

Core time 1 (4:30pm - 5:30pm): odd-numbered presentations
Core time 2 (5:30pm - 6:30pm): even-numbered presentations
