Ecobalance Young Researchers’ Workshop
(4^th November, 6:10pm~7:10pm)

The Young Researchers’ Workshop (YR-WS) will take place on November 4th!
We are planning two opportunities for participants to engage with each other across different research fields, with the hope that these interactions will inspire new ideas for future research and collaboration.
We will introduce the details of the events planned for the YR-WS below, so if you are interested in participating, please fill out the registration form. The deadline is October 10th.
We have extended the deadline for the dinner party to October 20th.

We welcome not only young researchers but also anyone who feels young at heart or wishes to connect with young researchers.

The YR-WS will include the following events:

1.Flash presentation competition ~~(6:20pm~7:20pm)~~ → (6:10pm~7:10pm)

We will hold a flash presentation competition.
Through this presentation, presenters can showcase and advertise themselves and their research to the participants in few minutes! You can present whatever you want! (Self-introduction, an outline of your research, a brief introduction of your findings, ideas for your future research projects, etc.).

The audience will evaluate the presenters through a voting form which we will send to the participants.
We will prepare a prize for the winner!

2.Dinner party (7:30pm~9:30pm)

After the flash presentation competition, we will host a dinner party!
Through the communication in a non-formal atmosphere, you will be able to make friends and to expand your community.

This experience will make the conference enjoyable, meaningful, and could even be the starting point for new research colaborations in the future!

Details for the dinner party have been finalized.

Venue: Rigoletto Tapas Lounge
Cost: 2,500 JPY for those who registered through the form

We appreciate the high level of interest! Thanks to a subsidy from the EcoBalance office, we are pleased to offer a reduced price for attendees.

Payment Method: Cash only
Payment Collection: A payment desk will be set up in Room A during the Flash Presentation Competition on Monday, November 3rd, from 18:10 to 19:10. Please make your payment during this time if you are attending the YRWS.

Additional Note: If you haven’t registered for the dinner party yet, there is still room for additional attendees. You may pay at the desk during the specified time above. Please note that same-day registration will close once capacity is reached. Same-day attendees will not be eligible for the subsidy and will need to pay 6,000 JPY.
