EcoBalance Poster Award

The EcoBalance Poster Award will be awarded to the most outstanding posters. The total prize-money of this award is 100,000 yen. If you would like to apply for the Poster Award competition, full paper submission should be completed by August 1, 2016 for the review committee to select the finalists. The full paper will be used for review only, if authors request by clicking the check box "Use for review only for the Poster Award" at the submission page. The full paper will be used for review only. But if authors request, the paper can be included in the electrical conference program book. If do so, all authors need to permit to make their full paper to be publicly released and agree that the paper is not allowed to submit to a special issue on EcoBalance 2016. This review process will be conducted by double-blind review.

During the poster sessions, a scientific jury will evaluate the posters of the finalists on the basis of scientific excellence, including the presentations by the authors. The winners will be announced at the closing session of the conference on October 6, 2016.

Formatting requirements for the full paper

For double-blind review, any authors' information (name, affiliation, address etc.) should NOT be shown in manuscript. Although no specific formatting for the full paper is required, the full paper is recommended to be prepared in accordance with the formatting requirements written in GUIDE FOR AUTHORS for RESOURCES, CONSERVATION AND RECYCLING (RCR) of Elsevier, which is scheduled to publish a special issue on EcoBalance 2016. A full paper must contain the essential elements needed to convey your manuscript, for example Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, References, Artwork and Tables with Captions. Excellent papers will be invited to submit to the special issue in RCR.

Online submission of the full paper (July 1 to August 1, 2016)

Online submission of the full paper will start on July 1, 2016 via "Full paper submission" banner in "Submission" tag. Recommended file extension is .pdf, but .doc and .docx for MS-Word are also acceptable for the submission. The file size does not exceed 10 MB.
